Some of the topics you can look forward to learning about include FinOps for running AI in the cloud, cloud sustainability, and applying FinOps concepts in a number of scenarios such as within SaaS, Hybrid, and On-premise setups.
Microsoft released a list of updates for its cost management platform
Azure users, this one’s for you:
Microsoft’s Cost Management tool received several updates in August, and Microsoft released the documentation to go along with them in September.
Below are just a few documentation changes and other updates released last month that you might have missed:
These probably aren’t life-changing updates for your business, but every little bit of optimization helps! And we will always encourage you to look through the docs of any cloud service providers or tools you use to make sure you’re getting the most bang for your buck. Sometimes just tweaking a few things can help you save money.
A TechRadar report confirmed what your wallet already knew — growing cloud costs are a problem
If your monthly cloud bill is a source of anxiety, you’re not alone. Gartner — as reported by TechRadar — says most organizations are blowing past their budgets each month when it comes to cloud costs, and cloud storage in particular.
If the answer were as simple as “spend less,” everyone would be doing it and finance departments everywhere would be rejoicing. Realistically, however, businesses today are faced with the prospect of keeping — and even ramping up — their cloud services in order to stay competitive, while somehow still shouldering the weight of ever-increasing prices.
TechRadar says (and we agree!) that the best way to combat this problem is to look for a cloud cost management solution that can aggregate all your cloud costs into one place and provide total transparency into where each dollar goes. Only with complete visibility into your cloud costs can you optimize your spend and prevent — or at least lessen — that feeling of monthly sticker shock.
Solve Your Snowballing Cloud Cost Problem Once And For All
The good news is, if you’re looking for that perfect cost management solution that allows you to keep an eye on your cloud spend — even across multi-cloud environments and for third-party services — your search is over.
Gone are the days of poring over each bill from your individual cloud providers and trying to figure out why your spend has doubled over the past year. With CloudZero, you can see how much every single resource, project, feature, and customer costs your business, and how those trends change over time. That kind of transparency is the key to lowering your costs and keeping them under control for good.
